Though police say they still must await an autopsy, it seems that evidence found with the body makes them relatively sure it's Morgan."We're fairly confident that the remains are those of Morgan Dana Harrington," State Police Superintendent Col. Steven Flaherty told the Augusta Free Press. "Until we receive word from the autopsy, we can't say with 100 percent certainty that this is truly Miss Harrington. However, there were some significant items of evidence that makes us confident that that scientific procedure will confirm that ID."
The body was found on a remote area of the farm used to grow hay. Unfortunately, it would have made a perfect place to hide the young woman, since the hay was waist-high at the time.
Police won't say what other evidence they discovered at the crime scene.
